Well here goes the story.

Bought the ST170 off ebay from QLD for a nice price

Drove up to QLD on friday thanks to Matt and towed the sucker back down on saturday. I must say it was a great road trip though there where plenty of Muppets on the road.

I must also say that Brisvages has plenty of potential ;)

Aywho. Once it was back at my house on saturday night had a good nights sleep. Then got up the next day and began striping the car.

Here are some pictures of her before we started working on her.

And then the work begun (6)

All in all it was a good day.

There is still plenty of mechanical work to be done on the car.

So soon to follow will be a Parts List if anyone wants to purchase any parts.

Please DO NOT email me untill i put the list up. Thank you.

Ohh and here are some funn photos of when we roller her down the property with no interior and no engine nor gearbox LOL.

And just to clarify to everyone, it was a repairable write-off by the insurance company, but the car was sold without an engine from the original buyer so it would have been grossly expensive to repair when it got into Sean's hands.

It was great fun ripping it apart. I took all the photos hence why I'm not in any of them!!

4th survived with minor (easily repairable) scratches, tyre's a bit shagged though. Something down low was damaged, I think a suspension arm, so they put on the spare to make it easier to turn and roll. Even more amazing that a car with 4 good wheels and 2 good aribags was written off!!!!!

No offence Steve, I wasn't offering them, just answering the question more in my amazement that the wheels survived!

The wreck I got my wheels from was the same... freaky. ST rims must be blessed

Needless to say I am REALLY REALLY looking forward to having the ST's goodies on my Focus as I can still remember riding around in the Silver Bullett in the Yarra Valley courtesy of Zetec! Oh, the cheque's in the mail, Steve.

Just so nobody gets their noses out of joint, Eddie, Sean, and myself, actually pooled funds and bought the car together.

Eddie and I went 1/4 share, and Sean went 1/2 share and did all the work(ably assisted by Matt out of the goodness of his heart). Eddie and I took certain parts as our share (Eddie: wheels and suspension. Stephen: Interior, and brake knuckles and hubs). Sean owns the rest of the car, and after keeping certain parts for himself (eg body kit and exhaust), is now offering additional parts for sale...AT AMAZING NEVER TO BE REPEATED PRICES!!!!

He is offering the parts here on the Forum first, and then will no doubt go to the wider public through Ebay or similar.

That is why Eddie and I got parts that Sean didn't list. No inside deals etc etc.

A great example of Focus members working together, and a great opportunity for the Focus community! Take a look now before he gets double on Ebay!!!!LOL

Yes, I think it needed to be clarified in "plain English" for everyone's benefit and I'd really like to thank Sean, Steve and Matt for everything they have done and will do to help me out with getting the good stuff on my Focus. Thanks Guys!!
