Overheating makes a terrible racket... mine did it today after sitting... just a rush of cooler water soon fixed that :P

I'd suggest checking around the cooling system, water levels and censor to begin with...

The noise seemed a bit over the top for overheated or a coolant issue or a sensor??
But will check it out

Does your car beep at you when you unlock/lock it, if so, it has an alarm, an add on style one probably, i've had mine try to go off on me whilst driving, gave a chirp but stopped at that. Just check all wiring under the dash at the steering colum

Yea it does. One of those GSM ones that call your fone when the alarm goes off. This is wat i was worried about.

See, my car has a leaking problem im trying to find out what it is. Its leaking on some wires next to the steering column under the dash on the right hand side. Now that could be shorting it out or sonethin.

ill have to get it checked out on my next day off

cheers

I got a leak in the drivers side of mine too. I talked to my mechanic yesterday while getting a rego check yesterday and he doesn't remember seeing any cracks in my firewall so i might be in for some fun too
