Got it in one, one time he was in my driveway looking over my 7 series, another time looking through our trailer to see what we were throwing out, he's one of those types who has no life and is too busy getting up in everyone elses business

I used to leave for work about 7am and they didnt. I'll never forget the line.."let me point to your (obviously) faulty muffler".

ED XR falcons are a fav of mine, agreed never see them anymore.
Other day riding to work, i see in the distance what looked to be an ED XR6. Got closer, was a plain jane model with a bona fide XR front.

On Friday night I saw a XB Falcon 500 sedan 250ci with historic plates. Absolutely stock. Unrestored. But in great condition for it's age.

Stock looking mid-blue Mk 2 Esky, full rego, great condition. Had the small soft foam duck-tail spoiler on the boot, in black. Mowbray Rd westbound, about 1PM today.

I don't know how many orange ones they made but I got a short drive in one in Adelaide on my 21st birthday so it may have been that car.

I was working at British Leyland in Zetland when these were released. My job was to grab a piece of ticker tape run it through a computer (?) and it would tell me what number/colour tag to hang in the headlight gap. When the first P76 came through there was no tape thing, production ground to a halt over 4 hours as it had slipped onto the line 2 days early.

In Artarmon, fellow driving an older Ferrari convertible. Don’t know which model, it had a flat beaver panel with black infill between dual round taillights and a longer name in joined chrome lettering on the lower right of the beaver.

One of the old blokes i used to work with has a 61 studebaker hawk. I just looked up the rego and yep its still on full rego. He used to take the thing to car shows but apparently people looking at it damaged it, then it only came out 3 times a year. 1 for a trip for fuel, 2nd was for a wash and 3rd was for the rego inspection. So his was an australian delivered 4.2L v8 with the 3 speed auto. He did the swap out the valve body to one from a 6 cylinder hawk thing. With the v8s, as they were a luxury car at the time, in D for go they would always start in 2nd, never kick down to 1st. 1st was only if you selected it with the shifter. The 6 cylinder valve body started in 1st in drive. So that mod gave the v8 models a bit more pep in their step. Another thing nobody cares about is studebaker put their thermostats at the back of the motor, so the hottest part.
