Try aviation fuel if you think petrol for your car is $$$$..
Avgas is well over $2/L in Far North QLD.. (And not far behind down south i'm sure...) Sucks when your aircraft drinks 120L/hour... (Average Twin..) And people wonder why light aircraft cost so much to charter...  : I feel sorry for those living up the cape, who rely on aircraft & helicopers for everyday use... OUCH! |
