Cops never hassled me about my 19' rims. His response was as long as the tyre diametre doesn't exceed 2 sizes above standard. so 245's were fine, as the XT had 225's as standard.
Id check with your local police station as to what would warrant a defect notice in terms of rims size. |

apprantely if you went over 2inches, you had to get it engineered ?
