I read somewhere Hyundai weren't happy their car didnt receive the 5 star safety rating so they asked if it could be tested again. Can anyone confirm?

A Hyundai fan told me that their JD Power customer satisfaction results were ahead of Honda too.

They will get better and better (and the prices will get higher and higher).

bah thats only the cars guide award. Everyone knows that Wheels Car of the year is the most well known one and the one more people recognise. though Wheels magizine is extremly bias (Holden Monthly orWhich Beemer?) Its like empolyee of the year vs Empoyee of the month.

Iv'e just sold my VRX Lancer, new owner picked it up today, my parents are in Europe for a couple of months and Iv'e got their 2006 Hyundai Elantra Auto to drive around in........and to my surprise........ it's very good.

It is a comfortable, quiet, smooth and easy car to drive, it doesn't make any odd noises, squeeks or rattles and goes pretty well to boot, one thing I really did notice is that it revs very low for a 4 cylinder car, 2100rpm at 100km/h which makes highway driving a pleasure (unlike many others!)

All in all it's a very nice car, dont knock Hyundai, they themselves believe that within 10 years they will be the worlds biggest car manufacturer!!
