Thats a good write up JBomb3000.
I haven't seen these up close, but seems like it will be ok for those wanting something completely different.

Yeah nitro is not my cup of tea. The pricings pretty stodgy car too, i can only see this car being bought by cashed up yuppies and expat americans.
Seems to be sympton of every Chrysler car since the 60s. Good mechanicals let down by poor execution, poor build quality and crummy ergonomics.

Well the fact it is actually made in Austria may have some thing to do with the price.

Hey guys, i work for daimler chrysler in melbourne and i have first hand seen the dodge nitro in person. I reckon that it looks awesome on the t.v but when you are physically looking at it, it is far from great. The front bumper sticks out a good 8 inch's, the inner door handles are absolutely shocking. I brought my mrs a dodge caliber and we are more than happy with it. First she was like " no its to big and bulky" so we took it for a drive and she fell in love with it. Price range was great, sale rep could have been better but if you guys are looking for an SUV definately check out the dodge caliber.
