I had a simular issue with an old commodore I had a few years back. It was simply corrosion on part of the rear taillights, yet it was throwing every thing out of wack. The indicators would simply stay on, instead of flashing. Probly a simular issue.

All you do is trial and error remove 1 globe at a time till it comes good, start at the rear first.

All i did when this happend to me was got new lights and changed them all for like $15.

Had the same thing on a series 3 it was the globe holder for the stop tail light
on the AU its a plastic which splits & cracks with the heat from the globes got a replacement loom from ford $30.00 it also houses the blinker ,reverse lights the replacement ones are the same as the BAs its a harder plastic
Cheers ..Whoosha
