Hi Guys
I can't take it anymore, the screeching noise comming from under my bonnet is killing me. I have tracked it to the idler pully and just brought a new one. My question is how do you remove the old pully so i can install the new one. I searched the forums and really only found out how to remove the serpentine belt and that was pretty in descriptive. Cheers Alpineau

remove your snorkel
remove the fans remove the drive belt that is all easy Then with a 10 mm socket you will feel three bolts (in a sort of triangluar shape) hold the whole tensioner assembly onto the front of the motor Once you have the tensioner off, you can get to the bolt the holds the pulley on.. It is 14 or 16mm iirc.. I find it is easier to put the assembly in a vice and crack it that way.. THen the pulley just slides off and you can fit your new one
