numerous vids around of cameras that appear mounted to car door frames and or exterior mirrors.
Whats the go are these available as after market items...

The Hyundai Santa Cruz (US market unibody dual-cab recreational ute) comes with mounting points built-in to each fender flare. Buy Go-Pro mounts as an accessory from Hyundai.
