yeah i have never liked scissor jacks the holden standard one is a bit better than in the territory i cant imagine what crap they put in the falcon.

I have always put the spare under the sill it is just common sense really.
I got a blow out on the highway in a hire car once i kept driving in the emergency lane another 5kms or so till the next off ramp before changing they wont be using that rim again..

The euros all have a decent crank jack but most of them not a decent spare, go figure.
