Has anyone ever installed a (nokia) mobile phone kit to a BA Falcon on thier ownsome? Just how hard is it to get at the plugs? I've been told its pretty hard but is it as hard as getting me to part with the $88 dollars? ta! mm :

G'Day minimax,
have installed nokia bluetooth kit in mine, wires and plug for stereo muting etc, located under dash on drivers side near steering column. Hardest part was using the stereo speakers for phone sound instead of speaker supplied with the kit. Enjoy. |

Ive pulled a few out, but never been bothered to try and put one in.
Phone kit guy always provides the proper brackets etc so its easier to get him to do it. Its easy enough to do if you can be bothered to get some wiring knowledge. |

considering that the installers we used at work for our fleet of lpg BA wagons were knocking them over in 20 minutes, I doubt it is very hard...

it takes me 2 weeks to build an ambulance, i think 20 minutes for a phone kit is allright but if you can do it quicker and just as good or better quality job then give the guy a hand!
