Took the car to the Auto elect's to get the airbag light flashing fixed.
He gave it back with a busted Diff : I got a used gearbox for $250 but its a waste of time pulling the box without replacing the clutch and the slave at the same time. I have been reading about the gearbox removal and can see I will have to pull the subframe to remove it. BUT can anyone tell me if there is room to slide the gearbox out of the clutch and out of the car, without pulling the engine/gearbox complete? Also, The best price I can get for the clutch kit including slave is $540. IS there anywhere cheaper to get one in Australia before I order one from the UK off UK ebay? |
