Default Series 1 IRS question

I was looking at the Koni catalogue and only found shocks listed for Series 2/3 IRS.

What are the differences (if any) between the Series 1 and 2 IRS setups?

I am aware that XR models have adjustable camber pins...

Cheers

Series 1 fairmont ghia had IRS

The difference in the braking setup between series 1 and series 2/3 means that the front suspension is different in Series 2/3 i believe

No difference. I have swapped shocks and springs between a series 1 XR6 VCT and a series 2 XR8 - apart from the brake line holders on the series 2 front shocks, there is no difference at all in these components. Of course, front control arms, uprights etc are all different between series 1 and 2/3, but since your question was about IRS (where the R = rear), then the simple answer (and sorry I took so long to get to it) is:

NOTHING!

Thanks for clearing that up JC,
I didn't think there was a difference but seeing as no part number was available for series 1 w/IRS I had to make sure.
