Apart from the obvious, (speedo in 2km/h increments) Is there any other differences with the police clusters to suit an EL??

I want to put it int a Fairlane.. I've heard it's a big job to wire them up because the plugs are different from the falcon to the fairlane.... Is that right or will it go straight in????
