Default Extractors without Exhaust.

Iv had the AU since Feb. 2006.. and it got a new exhaust put on under warrenty a few weeks after I bought the car. With that I bought a $170 twin exhaust tip.

On my VR Commodore, I had the extractors, 2.5" zaust and CAI w/k&n.. now Im thinking about about throwing a set of extractors on the AU i6.. the only mod Iv done is a Pod in the Air Box and the Tickford Scoop. And lowering it, but that does matter..

Compared to an AU i6 with both extractors and a 2.5" exhaust package, how does one compare with simply the extractors and the standard exhaust?

I know there will be a different in performance, but how much are we talking about? Noticable difference in accelleration?

Free flowing extractors into restricted exhaust system, no good. I would say that there would be quite a difference between the two.

I have XForce extractors into te standard exhaust and she goes pretty well. Dyno'd 137.1rwkW with a decent top end, with just the extractors and an XR6T snorkel (VCT motor). Which is a few up on standard. I'll be finishing the exhaust soon (cat back) so i'll let you know if there is a noticable improvement.

It will be fine as it is, but don't expect a huge increase. Once you get a 2.5" system behind it, you will really notice a difference then.
