You could get the same prices at the wholesaler that your work does, and you would charge your Mum cost price surely. 6ft ladder would fit inside a hatchback with the front seat down. Couple hours on the weekend and your mum would have saved a bundle. This sounds like how my daughter tries to justify something she doesn’t want to do haha!!

You’re definitely going to hell for not doing this for your mum.... it’s in the Mum commandments - “Thou shall help thy mother whenever possible as she pushed thou out of her vagina, raised thou and put up with thou’s ****e.”
