Default Unable to sign up at https://www.ford.com.au/owner/registration - doesn't recognise VIN

I've just been trying to sign up on the "Ford Owner's Support Page" and I keep getting kicked off because it won't accept my new vehicle's VIN as a valid number.

Has anyone else had this problem? It's using the VIN from a 2016 Kuga - straight off the owner's manual and rego papers. I'll have to double check the vehicle plates tomorrow, but surely the dealer hasn't stuffed up important info like that?

Edit: I've tried entering the VIN on a VIN decoder website and it comes up as a valid number for an Australian Kuga with all the correct options listed.
