Default Conversion to electronic ignition

Howdy fellas, new guy Al here again. Looking at replacing the points/condenser in the dizzy on my 1600. Some questions:
Can anyone identify the type of dizzy from the attached photos or do I need to pull it out to confirm?
Are the Accuspark conversion kits any good or are there better options out there?
In the long run are the conversion kits as effective/reliable as changing out the dizzy for full electronic versions?
Thanks in advance.
