Hey guys.
Next semester i'm differing university, long story short, it's not what I expected and it's because I wasn't prepared. In my semester off I want to catch-up on some practical skills I've been missing in the shed, namely welding. I can operate almost all other power tools but welding just seems to be so much harder. Anyway, i'm looking for a simple, quick course to learn to weld/do bodywork. I don't want to do a course for a qualification, I just want to learn how to do it. Mum was saying my grandfather did a welding course in the nights at TAFE a few years ago, but I can't find that anymore. What can you guys recommend? Also, has anyone here done one? Was it very helpful for you, or do you think it would have been better just to keep practicing on scrap steel at home? Would appreciate the help guys. |
