Nothing wrong with the Nissan CVT transmission, our X-Trail has the 6 speed in it mated to a 2.5lt 4cyl and the thing absolutely flies, effortless overtaking, always on the sweet spot, we've never had it struggle up a hill and excellent fuel economy
