2000 Saab 9-5, anyone owned one?

Morning chaps,

I am looking at getting a daily driver to take to the shops and for the missus to take to work. Her 07 Ranger has some money in it for trips away but with the Kays she does will be nudging 200ks in around a year. So we want to preserve it as much as possible so we can enjoy it and for the reason we bought and built it.

So im looking at a cheap car under $3000 that can be a sh*tbox and im not really going to worry about. Preferably 4 cylinder as it might as well be cheap to rego and insure.

Theres plenty of cars out there but I started to notice that for the same money as an Excel, 323 or Magna, you can get euromobiles.

I have a dealer mate who sold a 2000 Saab 9-5 SE a while ago and just traded it back in to the returning customer. It has 170ks, everything works apart from one interior bulb, drives fine just the bumpers are both scuffed.

Has anyone had one or had any experience as I can get this one at wholesale price which is cheap. If it lasts a year or 2 without majr faults then I will be happy.
