Snowy Hydro SouthCare fund raiser - Show & Shine

The Committee recieved this email on Wednesday regarding a fund raising Show & Shine to help the Snowy Hydro SouthCare rescue Helicopter. This event is taking place on Sunday 29th May 2011 at EPIC yes next Sunday. I know that it is late notice but I think that our club should support this local rescue service.

This invitation has gone out to all the car clubs in Canberra and at only $10.00 per car it should be a great spectacle.

I will find out what time it starts and how long it will go for then post up the times.

Hello Fellow Clubs,

Could you please let Members know of this important event for the 29th May, 2011 at EPIC.

This is a fund raising event for Snowy Hydro SouthCare, $10.00 per car irrespective of make model or condition, Spectators enter by gold coin donation.

I ask that if we could band together and really support this day strongly, as you never know if or when you may need to depend on this great regional service, it’s the fast medical help delivered by this service that saves so many lives.

Snowy Hydro SouthCare rescue Helicopter has completed in excess of 4500 missions since its inception. Some Canberra residents and members of your club may have been thankful that these guys were there to help, or may one day in the future be thankful that they were there.

We all as Canberra Residents need to collectively come together and support this great service and make sure that every little offer of help or contribution can keep this great life saving asset in the air, in the air with the most update life saving equipment, and high capable staff to contend to many varied needs as each mission they attend is different from the last.

The day will consist of a simple show and shine, trade displays, and entertainment for the kids, food vendors, and fantastic commentary by the renowned “PINKY”

Again I plead for as many people as possible both entrants and spectators to attend the Snowy Hydro SouthCare Auto Spectacular and help make a contribution to this great service.
