The new Kia sportage is much better than its sister sibling (ix35) & I would not go for an ASX either as the seats are damm hard to sit on lol

Escape underpowered & bad handling in its class not to mention old design.

Dualis, Rav4, Kia Sportage would be my pick of the cheaper small AWD's
