Hey all,
Recently my 2000 AU1 xr6 has been having some dramas up the front of the car. At times when driving along the steering wheel will start to shudder heavily, when i pull over to check things the front arches smell like they do when under very heavy braking (burning smell). This is a tempromental problem and only occurs now and then. I jacked up my car the other night and the front wheels were very heavy to turn. There is still plenty of meat on the brake pads and under regular braking the steering wheel does not shudder. I do not hear any noises of interest when driving along so I am unsure whats going on? I am thinking that this may be an issue with the brakes? Anyone had this experience? |
