From the people that gave you a ute in the water comes the next thrilling installemnt five mattresses & an XD Falcon
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/roa...-1225830694507 THIS motorist pictured on a Melbourne freeway with five mattresses strapped to the car roof could be Victoria's stupidest driver. But police say he might not have broken any laws. Sharon Jones and her husband were driving on EastLink when they saw the car about 2pm on Sunday. "We've seen that sort of thing in Thailand before but didn't think it would happen here," Mrs Jones said. The mattresses were piled over a metre high on the car, which Mrs Jones said was driven by an elderly man. "He was driving along like it was his Sunday afternoon drive," she said. Police confirmed the driver might not have been doing anything wrong. It is difficult to see in this photo whether this load fits within safety dimension limits or not," road safety legislation expert Sen-Sgt John Gibson said. Road safety laws say the maximum height of a vehicle is 4.3m and a load was not to project more than 15cm to either side. But Sen-Sgt Gibson said the driver could be in breach of laws related to how the load was secured.
