Default Ford model naming rights.

I read somewhere on the forum that Ford has the rights to the GTHO name until 2012.

Does anyone on the forum know where rights for such names are registered?

I'm also wondering with the return of such names as GS; which hasn't been seen since the XC;just how long these rights are secured for.

Such names as Sprint,Superbird,ESP,Landau,LTD and even Fairlane could possibly re appear at some stage on a Ford,so I guess there are ownership rights on those names for some time into the future?

I hope so ,as I'd hate to see a Hyundai Sprint or a Daewoo Landau .

I'm also wondering how these guys are able to use the HO name.
