Default Scary driving moments

What moments when driving your vehicle have you had that gut wrenching feeling and scared the living poop out of you.

This weekend was driving down to Townsville, rounded a blind corner only to find a 180sx pegging it in the opposite direction overtaking a long line of cars, mad the split second to decision to slam on the chocks and steer onto the grass verge, I was probaby just over the white line on the shoulder and the 180sx flew by in my lane.

Hit the grass and managed to stop just infront of a big box culvert. Kinda just sat there in the car holding the wheel for a little bit and not saying much. The missus was pretty freaked out as well.

I've been driving for 3 years and have never been that freaked out behind the wheel before. I was travelling at 100 and the 180 was definatly over 120.

It just goes to show that a split second decsion can save lifes and you should always be on the ball when driving.

Anyways...guess the topic of this thread is to post up any scary driving moments you have had and how it's effected the way you drive, etc
