hey all im new to this and few reasons why i joined
A MAJOR FORD fan B own an au falcon but anyways to the real point for my sos call!!! my au falcon dont get me wrong is awsome much quicker and named a "sleeper" by friends, however being only a standard motor 157 kw's the lifters are starting to die. what i really need help with is a motor change im being offered a au xr6 VCT motor with computer for $600 with around 120,000k's my main questions are Do i need the computer? Do i need the wiring harness? etc... is there anything else i will need? to help with the answer my car is. 2001 au II s pac manual 5spd with standard motor with 270,000k's current mods 2 1/2 inch sports exaust high flow cat pacemaker extractors anger induction kid k&n high flow flat pannel filter power turbine fitted after filter so my power is much higher than 157kws i dont know if those details would help but im looking at the motor this friday and really need help as some people have said i need all, being the computer and wiring harness some have said no help would be much appreciated and if you would rather direct respond ricky_nitro_xwow@hotmail.com thanks Rick |
