Hey,
I recently bought a new diesel Jetta and must say it’s impressive. Over the past 2 years had an Turbo MKII ute and loved it…but its here I see a massive gap in what is and what should be. I could only hope Orion cuts the mustard. It’s the little things: -Windows wipers that not only are auto sensing but actually clean the windshield with every swipe of the blade (I know its new but the wipers on all aussie cars are crap from day one) - Super tight panel fits - Bi-Xeon Headlights (Wow there nice) - Auto Dim Revision Mirror - Great seats - Tyre pressure sensors - Nice illumination of dash, buttons and surrounds - Slick manual transmission (By this I mean the cluckamatic Falcon 6 speed - fix it please) - MP3 - Wind Noise. And lack of. - Here is where I could and will stop sooking...but theres more and more. All this really hit home again while driving a mates VZII SS ute for two days this week. We all know this forum has copped a barrel full of complainers but for a 33k purchase you cannot beat it. Whether it’s the fact Euro’s build more cars making the balance sheet more justifiable, Ford OZ have allot more work to do in all areas to be truly competitive with a quality all round product. I just want to be like Borrat and one day buy something with a tight “virgin”. In the words of Chopper “Harden the ***** up” Ford. out: |
