Ok i did post something similar in the e series forums..... but its kinda an au-s1 problem
i have just finished putting au gear in my ea.... i mean everything.... swapped out the entire wiring loom engine accessorys etc, and at the same time i am trying to get it to work with my manual gearbox (was an auto AU) so i have put a resistor in to make it think the temp is correct and another so it thinks it is in neutral. at this point in time i have got the engine ticking over (not only is there a resistor so the car thinks it is in neutral there is also a switch which i have set to 'park', before that it wouldnt even crank) there is definatly a spark.... so what is stopping it? fuel pump is running fine so i can only assume its the injectors but i have no idea why thay wouldnt be firing? everything is plugged in as it was except for the airbag and the auto. if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.... all the au gear is from a 98 S1 with smartlock...but there is not smartlock warning light.... the only other light i can see that comes up on the dash when I turn it over is the one that looks like ((!)) sorry if thats i bit hard to read....im going out of my brain Regards Cam |
