Default Different rims on the ute... +2" (mildly unkind to 56k but okay still)

Picked these up today for $400, not a bad buy (and the seller had a sweet AU3 XR8 aswell!).

Stack of rims + refreshments....

Before and after...

Now for the next questions I'll pre answer...

1. I know it needs lowering, and I have marginally lowered the front with Whiteline Control front coils (the front is actually lower than it looks, as it hasn't settled from dropping the trolley jack). I have no intention of lowering the front further, as it suits my needs and living environment. The rear will be addressed in the near future, and will most likely drop with 2" lowering blocks.

2. These are not rated to the one tonne requirements, but IDGAF anymore.

3. Tyres are Falken ZE-326, which from this site appears to be death by rubber - I'll make up my own mind. If they suck I'll change them, maybe. Or smoke them, maybe.

4. I don't expect the rears to rub on the XL tubliner because hopefully the swaybars will stop some of the body roll that contributes to the rubbing.

5. Photobucket mangels resizing pictures and they were only taken on a mobile phone anyways. But enough to get the idea across..

One of the tyres has a screw embedded in the tread, I'll get this fixed, a wheel alignment and all should be nice and sweet!

Have a great weekend, and I can't wait for those Coopers to cool down!

Dan...
