Holden by rights had a toe in the water feeling out reaction to design with it's imported Astra models I guess and just suped-up the effect and clag-glued it onto VE- obviously the deisgn is not a gamble and it will sell well. AU by comparison was a huge gamble and didn't work- BA would have been a better car to carry over from E-series (the FORD E-series) then into AU (albeit probably with a different interior) as the design would have flowed better and not been such a hard shape to swallow, but this topics been done before....
