Absolutely! Not arguing against that. We all in all of our jobs do what the client wants us to do so that we may get to do it again.
What I'm arguing with is the blatant disrespect shown to these people and many like them, because they have a different opinion, especially one based on exploration of real evidence.
The party line seems to be to attack them personaly rather than their findings, to use anecdotal evidence to refute them.
As you mentioned Lambert held an alternate finding. Assuming it to was peer reviewed and not just another quack pub expert all is good, but to move the debate forward more must be done and it would seem the haters are happier perfecting silly walks than pursuing the truth...unless deep down they actually know its not easy and they don't have the capabilities, unlike the Academics, but no, that couldn't be it because Academics, according to many here are muppets and a Muppet surely couldn't do something the average AFF expert could...could they!
