Default FPV & Performance Sales Statistics

For those who have been asking, regrettably, 2011 will end up being the last year that we have access to this data as Ford have now decided that this data is commercially sensitive and FPV data will be simply merged with Falcon sales data.

I'd have to say (and have said) that while I understand the commercial sensitivity, this is data that has been available to us for the 7 years that FPV operated independently and it will form a valuable resource for future owners of these vehicles.

It is ironic that there are other avenues from which this data could be obtained (including the primary competitor) but in the interests of maintaining harmonious relations with FoA we will not publish this data.

I will, however, be taking this up with Bob Graziano at the next opportunity in the hope of reversing that decision even if we have to agree to a publishing lag of 12 months to do so.

Regards
Russ
