Does anybody know how VicRoads issue the numbers? It appears they miss many numbers. That is;
AAA 000 to AZZ 999 = 676,000 numbers. My car's numberplate in 1999 started with a P My car's numberplate in 2003 started with a S My car's numberplate in 2007 started with a U My car's numberplate in 2010 started with a X If all numbers are used, that implies in 11 years 6,084,000 new registrations were issued. That can't be right as there weren't 6 million new cars sold in Victoria in that period. |
