I didnt know this, sorry if its common knowledge but interesting pub talk if you didnt.
http://www.valiant.org/falcon.html "Russ Shreve wrote that the 1955 Chrysler Falcon two seater was aimed at competing with the Thunderbird and Corvette. The Valiant was originally to have been named after that two-seater, but Ford grabbed the name just as it was about to go into production." Brings up the thought: what would the falcon have been called if chrysler grabed the name first?
