Hi!
So quick summary. I went to work in the AU a few months ago. No bingo. It turned out to be the fuel pump. I tried replacing with a walbro in tank and it was super rich. I found a full pump and replacement cradle on ebay to see if that at least got it going. It got worse.. it barely idles in gear (brake and throttle required), quick rev results in a huge black spot on the ground and huge cloud of smog. So far I have put new fuel and some injector cleaner in, wiped retuned, tried to reset idle.. My thoughts are potentially fuel filter? O2 sensor? Has anyone had this issue or does anyone have ideas? Cheers in advance!

Sounds to me if you need brake and throttle it's a bit more then a fuel issue, that part sounds more like a vacuum leak to me.

Pretty common for fuel reg to block up and not let excess fuel back to tank. Also have seen return line rust up causing same issue. A fuel pressure test will confirm

That makes perfect sense (block return line). The way it acts sounds plausible.
I will see if there are any obvious blocks, leaks etc and get back to you. Thanks guys.

Success. Issue was the regulator.
Thanks all for the advice!
