hey could anyone please help me out.
I have a 1999 AU fairlane done 130k. recently when the engine is idling the rev meter starts going up and down a bit and the car engine shakes. its almost as if its doing hickups. furthermore sometimes when u are driving at a greater speed (anywhere form 50 kmh) the car will be floored and it wont go at all until u reach a certain point and then it just takes off. Is this a spark plug problem or someone also told me it could be my cam shaft as well. Thanks for the help ogman 8 |

rev meter is a tacho, and it will fluctuate when you have a dirty ISC or a bad vacuum leak. As for the other, sounds more like a fuel supply issue, change the fuel filter then move onto plugs and leads
It wont be the camshaft
