Default AU 2 shuddering

I have a problem with my 6 cylinder AU 2 it shudders sometimes when taking off or sometimes when just cruising at 100k it will shudder a bit like gear box slipping but not sure any help i would be very gratfull.

i just had the same thing in my car. Turned out the MAF sensor was buggered. I took it to the mechanic, he plugged it into a machine and told him that it was stuffed. cost me $35 for the test.

might be worth looking at.

Is your engine shuddering?; ie missing or is it hesitating?; ie not feeling like it wants to rev normally under load?
If its hesitating I'd suggest you might have a dirty fuel filter, I'd check this first as it is a lot cheaper to replace than a MAF sensor, and will cause the engine to starve and jerk and not accelerate cleanly.

dirty air filter
couple leads gone? (shes may only be firing on a couple less cylinders)
sparks?

Replaced Fuel filter seems better will check leads also as still has a slight shudder

either my ED or AUII did that a couple of times. always when i had the music blaring. like it was starving of fuel. for the life of me i cant remember which car though :|

Change spark plug leads.***** of a job.but it has rectified the problem .

mine shudders when i take off quickly then back off the accelorator sometimes.
