Unless you got a compact (bearing) puller it would be easier to remove the pump and replace the whole lot. Seen them on eBay for around $60 with the pulley included. Having said that, I replaced my water pump in Dec 05 and it didn't come with a pulley. Thought I would be able to remove the stock plastic one and swap it over. WRONG. In the end I got a steel one from Autopro. Put that in the oven on high for a while while the water pump shaft was sitting in ice. Still took a bit of force to get it on as it must be a decent interference fit. Still going good to the day. Hope this helps you a bit.

Cheers,

Rob
