So how is everyone doing with the exams this time around ?

I have my first one tomorrow afternoon, should be OK, Synthetic Chemistry is the name, and passing is the aim.

Good luck to everyone. :

Watch out. Last exams bring about things like, getting way to plastered for your own good and hooking up with a waterbuffalo

I'm lucky as only 1 of my 3 tests, I expect to be hard for me. I will ace Java and C++. The one I'm worried about is the theory behind system design (Requirements Analysis and System Planning Analysis).

I could almost go to sleep in these classes as they are of no interest to me. I just want to be a code monkey lol :P

My standards are low enough that I'll hook up with the waterbuffalo sans alcohol.

Assuming waterbuffalo is a metaphor for an unattractive lady and not an actual waterbuffalo...

I'm over study, i've had about 40 million assignments due in the last two weeks, and exams start on the 6th. Hardest one will probably be the CCNA one :(

5 exams starting in 3 weeks over 2 weeks.
Chem 1B. 3 hours multiple choice, no negative marking, hard stuff.
Bio 1B. As above, I'm not sure if we have negative marking on this, if we do it's - 1/4 mark for each question wrong, also some harder stuff than last semester
Intro math 1B. 3 hours written, I failed Math 1A so took up intro... should be fine for it, way easssier
Forensics. 1 hour written exam, easy stuff.
Marine Science. 3 hours multiple choice, only a few questions negatively marked... this isn't even a real topic, was an elective I chose.. shoulda done something else.

So far my marks are looking good, lowest would be a CR, average would be a DN with quite a few HD's thrown in... if I can hold it together for the finals I should be looking at some better marks than last semester (CR all one bar 1 fail).

Good luck to everyone else sitting 3+ exams..... and if you're an arts student.. then yeah no further comment :P

Next year it gets fun

Molecular Biology
Experimental Data Analysis 1
Analytical Chemistry 2
Chemical Bonding and Structure
Organic Chemistry 2A
Organic Chemistry 2B
Advanced Analytical Chemistry 2
Forensic and Analytical Applications of Microscopes
Professional Skills for Forensic Chemists
Statistics for Forensic Science
and 6 units selected from the following:
Thermodynamics
Quantum Phenomena
Electrochemistry and Kinetics

: And Remember kids... P's get degrees. : lol

Ahh... exam season. I remember those quite well. I used to have a ritual whereby I wear the exact same thing for every exam. I havent had the pleasure of doing an exam for a few years now. Although my last exam was an oral board in July.

Good luck to everyone! Hope you ace them all.

I've started a ritual too. When I start focussing on exams, I stop shaving, and by the time the exams are finished I have a beard!

LOL, I'm definately not the only one then. I don't usually shave all that often. I've usually got some form of facial hair, but it's been about 3 weeks now since my last shave. My hair's starting to look pretty wild too. I've got the real country bogan look happening at the moment!

Ah... the non-shaving. I did that also. Also used the exact same pens. Only changed pens if I had a bad exam. Ruler on the top of the desk. Pens and pencils on the right. I also had a theme music for the exam period. Changes every exam period though.

Might sound stupid but hey... I graduated uni. lol Class of 2002.

LOL. It makes me think of the Family Guy episode where Peter has his own theme music "Riding on the bus..."
