Please help I have an AU II Falcon with c2r bodykit and I need to get the rear bar welded as it has cracked from the bottom up (found out there is no support for these things under the car) been to my local panel shop in Rocky who can reweld plastic kits only problem is he hasn't done a c2r kit before and isn't certain of the type of plastic does anyone have any ideas as they don't exist anymore so I can't ask them. I suspect it is Polypropylene but am trying to make sure so any help would be great.

The plastic is R-RIM, Reinforced Reactive Injection Moulded. It's a polyeurathane composite plastic.

I've been told by a couple of people that the absolutely thrashed front bar (C2R) on my car cannot be repaired due to it being injection moulded and the type of material its made from.
So now I basically have to look into getting it replaced, either with another C2R or possibly try get a T-Series one on there.

These bars can be welded, but i have repaired a commodore one before using alternate (non-dodgy) methods. Depending on the crack size it can be done, C2R don't exist anymore so there is not much choice.
