is it bad when the bump stops are wearing out, mine are the same shape as my axle. is it coz the car is to low?

yes that may have something to do with it worst case scenario.. cut em out, all together! or unbolt them ( if they do)

Its much better to have them hitting, instead of the axle hitting the chassis...
