There's sounds better than the roar of a big lump of 351C with a new exhaust!
I picked up a set of old but unused Genie extractors for my effie a while back, and yesterday picked up my truck after the guys at Exhaust Bros in Geelong fitted those (with some modifications, didn't quite fit...) along with a new 2.5" twin system. I like the sound of my XR6 but I've got a new love. Felicity laughed hard at the big grin my face when I first turned the key. The roar, the cackle - yummy. I live on acres and I reckon I'll still be able to annoy the neighbours! The poor horses won't know what the hell is going on the first time they are floated with the upgraded truck. I have even more reason to restore it (the paint is woeful and the cancer is growing...) because it sounds so brutal, it'll be as nice a cruiser as it is a workhorse. Lucky theres room in my shed for 2!

Just make sure you keep the "death skull" accessories.. they suited it perfectly It's a bit of a beast I'll admit, would be very intimidating to other cars too.

Yeah, matt black is the go definitely. Don't worry Shane, those skull accessories aren't going anywhere, haha!

It's a 76. Long wheel base. Currently has an aluminium tray but I'm keen to find an original tub and get it closer to original (though the tub will need mods to accommodate the dual lpg tanks.)
