hi guys, does any one know if the shaft between the steering shaft and the rack has a slot so it can only be put on one way or is it splined all the way round? i ask because i had mine replaced and the wheel is off center, when i went back to the workshop they said it only goes on one way and i would need a wheel aline.

Yeah it only goes in one way because there is a cutout for the bolt to go through. And one of the splines is a thick one so no other way to put it but that way.
