Default 12's BF XR8 auto Bluepower tuned

I took my auto BF XR8 ute out to WSID for the FF private track day in the hope of finally cracking into the 12's. I did around 10 passes and 6 of them were in the 12's. the best was

12.879 @ 109.19 with a 1.918 60ft.

Chris thankyou for helping get my Bf moving. You really know how to get these bosses going. You rock dude! :

I am very happy with the package you have done for me. Bluepower Cai, Extractors and cats, tune and 3.23's.

The car is so good on the street now, Great fun. Just ask Wade ( Quadcams). Love it. And I am still averaging 10.4lts/ 100klm on my usual drive. It will be great when we put the blower on mate. :

G'day Leigh, Its made 234 on Chris's dyno.

The 109's and 108's mph was a shock to me. The tune I was using Chris just tweeked on thursday and sent the box up with the Express ACE(Craig). Nice touch up.

Hey Rich, I don't suppose you had a dyno run before modding as that 234 would suggest you started with only 200 or there abouts... Is that the norm for these things or a little on the low side? Congrats on the 12, those 3.23's sound the goods...as for getting another BF in the mix maybe I will grow some balls in the not too distant future...haha

The first time we put it on the dyno was after Craig fitted the headers and cats, so sorry I have no idea what it was standard. And it only had 4000klm on it when we dyno'd it.
That car has been sold with 55,000klms on it, a mate at ford gave me a deal I couldn't turn down. So now I have a Black BF ute in the driveway ( Still 6speed Auto) _2:
So it will be on the track very very soon with the blower! :

The stock rubber was good, before we put diff gears in they were good for 13.0's.
If I didn't do so much driving I would have put 3.4's in it. They would be Awesome.

Since you've had a few passes using ZF...just interested to know your thoughts on what best rpm to lauch with (street tyres) and I assume you were shifting manually, not sp mode? cheerz

I launch at 1400-1600 and shift at 5800 because it takes till around 6100rpm before it actually shifts.
When the car was totally stock running 14.0 I had to shift at 5600 and launched at 1700.
Get out and have a go. :
Also I don't know how much performace we lost when we run the 12's because one of the Cats was stuffed and had to be replaced a few days later. So it will be interesting to see what the new ute does with good cats. :hihi:
