That would have been so awsome. How many times would you go weak at the knees being inside that garage.

I've got one of those Four on the Floor posters with the 4 Moffat HO's on a starting grid signed by Moffat and framed on my wall. Drool.

I can remember about 20 years ago seeing a article in the melbourne age newspaper, about a guy that bought a new phase 2 and phase 3 and stored them away without even registering them and never driving them (what will power). They were meant to part of his retirement fund. I thought at the time he was a nutter. Not so sure now. I wonder what ever happened to these cars???

There were 4 Phases made (according to "The History of the GT" DVD), 3 race cars and a road going version.

One of the race versions was written off by a Commodore towing a caravan

One of the race versions is in a shed in country NSW

One is owned by a Queenslander (which is the one in the DVD and which I think is this one)

The road going version is owned by a Sydney Doctor.

Than god for the Bowden family.
Without David & his family these cars would be sitting around rusting, or at the tip, but thay are now treated with the respect thay deserve.

all very nice cars indeed, but i have 1 minor problem...
why, ohhhhh why, would you put the Phase 4 UNDER another car on a hoist???
i realise they might be pressed for room, but surely there must by something else they could put under the hoisted-Cobra that is 'replaceable', if there is such a thing, classic car wise??
i just worry when i see things like that, and while i know that hoists have safety locks and the rest, accidents can, and do, happen...

anyway, a collection to envy for the rest of us, and from what i've been told, thats only a small part of it!!

Theres an article on the phase fours in a Street Machine i have at home, i think they have three of them in photo shoots and mentioned that there was a fourth, but from what i can remember they were saying that all three that were in the photo shoot (all orange) had perfectly original paint. The photo shoot was really good the cars look excellent. I think there were 2 made in the shape of the one in these photos, and the other two were the same shape as the phase 1/2/3's. Awesome cars!!

Well that Cobra is not replaceable.
It's the one that John Goss and Henri Pescarollo drove at Bathurst.
If Henri doesn't win Le mans this year, he will then have the time required to come over to give it a demo run shortly. (quote : David Bowden).
