Default T-bar Handle

I have just acquired a new black T Bar handle to replace the dull grey standard one in my AU1 Forte.

I hope it is a simple procedure to do the swap. Would anybody have any tips on how to do this. The new one does not have the depress button so I will have to use the existing one.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I take it, it is a MOMO one, if so it is easy, all there is, is a little phillip's head screw at the front off the handle, you undo that and it slide's up, and yes you have to use the existing button unless you get a chrome one, if you can find one.

Must put the button in the T-bar handle before refitting from memory as well ... and it must be depressed in before sliding back on.

Have fun finding a chrome button ... I have JC to thank for mine

Have to disagree. Quickest mod I've done (and without tools too) is putting in a K&N panel filter!

well ... I think it was quicker to replace the clear side indicators than a panel filter ... but it'd be close in time for fitting. :P

I suppose I could change the interior light to a red one in quicker time too... but then this thread becomes way too off track...
