My AU1 wagon has standard rola sports bars on it, mounted above the doors (makes them very close), happened to see an AU wagon with a rack fully to rear and mounted between the tailgate & body somehow. Didn't have time to speak to driver & haven't seen any like it since. Does anyone know of such an animal. Haven't had any luck searching manufacturers. Maybe it was adapted at home somehow, but looked professional.

That is more of a trades rack setup, they have thin legs (flat steel) that go down and mount onto the tailgate hinges. I can't picture one but I am pretty sure the Telstra wagons have this setup.
Where are you located? If in Melb, try Veh-quip in Ferntree Gully |
